Jaeger-LeCoultre (JLC) is a watch and clock manufacturer based in Le Sentier (in Le Chenit), Switzerland. Founded by Antoine LeCoultre in 1833.
Jaeger-LeCoultre has been acknowledged since the 19th century as the “Grande Maison” of the Vallée de Joux.
With over 200 patents and more than 1,000 different calibres developed and crafted under one roof, several icon models such as the Reverso, the Duoplan or the Atmos, it is one of the most important and most innovative players in watch making history.
In 1925 the companies merged but it wasn't until 1937 that they launched the famous brand.
Famed for the smallness of things chrono-graphical to push watch-making to its limits.
The smallest mechanical movement, the smallest quartz movement, the smallest analog chronograph movement have been achieved by Jaeger-LeCoultre ‘s impressive research developments.
