Foster " Prince Of Purple | First, I want to state that I bought this watch as a casual/outdoor activity watch, not as a dress watch, so the nylon band and medium size are perfect for my needs. I' ve seen some online complaints about these two issues.
For such an inexpensive automatic (self-winding) watch it keeps surprisingly accurate time. The one I own gains about 10-15 seconds a day. The directions that came with it are easy to read and to follow. I especially like the day of the week feature. Now when I look at my watch, I don' t have to guess what the day of the week is (yes, I have that problem sometimes.)
My only serious criticism is that the watch crown is much too small. I have slender fingers and even I sometimes find it difficult to get a hold of the crown to pull it out. The crown could easily be twice as large without any adverse effect to the sense of proportion.
One last thing, I bought this watch from an authorized dealer here in the USA, so that may explain why it is so well regulated and keeps such good time. Previous experience tells me that watches bought in Asia at a great discount can be iffy on this score. And just try to return it for servicing! Postage to Singapore, the months long wait, it hardly seems worth the savings. | | Was this review helpful to you?
